Patient records are difficult to manage
Paper folders and scattered files make it hard to find complete patient information, previous visits, prescriptions, diagnoses, laboratory records and billing history.
Smart healthcare management system
SmartHMS is a complete hospital and healthcare management system for hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, laboratories, HMOs and medical centres.
Built for better operational control
SmartHMS helps healthcare teams digitise daily work, reduce manual processes and make decisions from more dependable operational records.
The operational problem
When reception, doctors, pharmacy, laboratory, accounts, HMO and management are not working from one connected system, care becomes slower, revenue becomes harder to track and the facility becomes difficult to scale.
Paper folders and scattered files make it hard to find complete patient information, previous visits, prescriptions, diagnoses, laboratory records and billing history.
Consultations, registration, tests, procedures, medicines, HMO claims and other charges can go untracked without one dependable billing workflow.
Limited stock visibility increases the risk of shortages, expired medicines, missing movement records and inaccurate inventory valuation.
Reception, doctors, pharmacy, laboratory, accounts and management repeat work when information does not move with the patient.
Management waits for manual summaries instead of seeing current patient, revenue, inventory, appointment and HMO activity.
Registration, consultation, billing, pharmacy and laboratory queues become longer when each step depends on a disconnected process.
The SmartHMS solution
SmartHMS brings the healthcare operation into one central platform. From patient registration to consultation, prescriptions, laboratory requests, pharmacy dispensing, billing, HMO processing and reporting, every authorised team works with clearer information.
It is not only a record-keeping tool. It is an operating system for patient care, business administration, revenue, inventory, staff access and facility performance.

Connected departments
SmartHMS follows how real healthcare teams work. Information moves with the patient, while each role stays focused on the tasks it owns.
Register patients, manage appointments, collect card fees, create visits and direct each patient to the right care point.
Review patient history, document consultations, record diagnoses, prescribe medication and request laboratory tests.
Receive prescriptions, dispense medicines, update stock, monitor low-stock items and report pharmacy income.
Receive test requests, manage processing, record results and return information to the patient’s clinical record.
Track invoices, card fees, consultations, pharmacy, laboratory, HMO and other facility payments.
Manage providers, enrolled patients, claims, authorisations, visits, billing and supporting records.
Monitor patients, staff, revenue, inventory, departments, HMO activity and facility performance.
Connected patient flow
A single connected journey reduces repeated work and gives authorised teams the information needed for the next action.
Reception creates a new profile or retrieves an existing record in seconds.
The patient is scheduled, checked in and assigned to the correct department or doctor.
The doctor reviews history, documents care, prescribes medication or requests tests.
Prescriptions and test requests move to the right team with the patient context attached.
Every consultation, service, medicine, test and procedure stays connected to the right record.
Management sees current activity while staff continue care with the complete history available.
Claims and billing visibility

Manage providers, HMO patients, claims, appointments, billing, visits and laboratory records through a structured workflow instead of scattered spreadsheets and manual follow-up.
Patient experience
Modern healthcare is also shaped by the experience around care. SmartHMS gives patients a simple, patient-scoped portal for relevant information, appointments and interaction with the facility.
Pharmacy & stock control
Connect drug records, prescriptions, dispensing, purchases, quantity, expiry and reporting. Better visibility helps teams respond to low stock, understand movement and improve accountability.
Billing & revenue
Connect charges to the right patient, service and department so accounts and management can understand where revenue comes from and where attention is needed.

Real-time reports
Instead of waiting for manually prepared summaries, authorised decision-makers can review current patient activity, appointments, revenue, pharmacy sales, inventory movement, laboratory work, HMO records and staff activity.

SmartHMS brings OpenAI, Claude and Kimi into selected workflows to reduce repetitive work and help authorised teams move faster. Brandevo is pioneering a security-first, multi-model approach in which AI assists the workflow while healthcare professionals remain in control.
Privacy by design
OpenAI, Claude and Kimi do not receive a direct connection to the hospital's SmartHMS database, cannot browse the installation and are not given continuous access to facility records. When an authorised person uses an enabled AI function, SmartHMS submits only the limited context required to process that specific request—never an unrestricted copy of the hospital database.
Authorised administrators can disable the AI layer whenever their policy, workflow or security posture requires a fully non-AI environment.
AI assistance follows SmartHMS access rules. A model request does not give a staff member broader patient, clinical, financial or administrative access.
AI supports selected tasks and helps reduce repetitive work. Healthcare decisions, approvals and accountable actions remain with authorised people.
The hospital's own SmartHMS database remains the authoritative home for operational records, permissions, retention, backups and recovery.
AI capabilities depend on the integrations enabled for the facility and the workflow being used. Brandevo can document the configured provider, request boundary and available off switch during deployment.
Security assurance
SmartHMS is engineered around current secure-development practices and multiple protective layers. Identity, permissions, request validation, database controls and privacy safeguards work together to reduce exposure across clinical, administrative and financial workflows.
Your data boundary
In a standard SmartHMS deployment, operational records are stored in a dedicated database assigned to your facility's environment—not pooled inside a shared SmartHMS database containing unrelated hospitals. This gives your organisation a clearer security boundary and direct control over infrastructure access, backups, retention and recovery.
Secure staff authentication and granular role permissions limit each person to the clinical, pharmacy, laboratory, HMO, finance or administrative functions required for their work. Frontend visibility is backed by server-side permission enforcement.
Authenticated routes use explicit permission checks. Security nonces protect state-changing browser requests against cross-site request forgery, while sensitive public workflows add rate limits, spam traps and high-entropy private tokens.
Inputs are validated and sanitised on the server, outputs are escaped for their destination, record fields follow fixed allowlists and database queries use parameter binding. Server-calculated totals and database constraints protect important operational values.
Patient, staff and provider experiences are scoped to the authenticated account and its authorised records. Sensitive actions use deliberate server workflows instead of trusting browser-supplied identity, permissions, prices or calculated totals.
SmartHMS supports controlled access to patient information and keeps operational responsibility tied to authenticated roles. Data-export, correction, retention and recovery procedures can be aligned with the hospital's governance and applicable privacy obligations.
Security is treated as an ongoing process. Versioned updates, compatibility checks and regression testing help keep protective controls intact as SmartHMS evolves, while urgent security fixes can be deployed without combining hospital databases.
SmartHMS supports encrypted HTTPS connections. Database encryption at rest, web application firewalling, malware monitoring, off-site backups, administrator multi-factor authentication and recovery retention are configured with your chosen hosting or infrastructure provider. Brandevo can help define and verify these controls during deployment.
